Save Our Summer
This summer, the Off The Street Club is sending out a huge S.O.S.—Save Our Summer. And we need your help! While summer for most kids equates to carefree days spent playing in the sun, summer can mean idle time and danger for kids on Chicago’s West Side. These kids deserve a safe, worry-free summer where they can make memories and forge friendships that will last a lifetime. That’s why we’re raising funds to send 500 Off The Street Club kids to summer camp through our Save Our Summer program.
The fresh air and activities at our Camp Mathieu, on thirty beautiful wooded acres just 30 miles from Chicago, makes the quintessential summer camp a reality for our kids. Help us replace violence and drugs in their neighborhoods with cookouts and sing-alongs, gunfire with campfire and the gang activity with swimming, hiking and horseback riding.
For every $500 donated, one child, who bravely said no to gangs and drugs, will be sent to camp. Make your contribution today. After all, hope grows stronger in fresh air and sunshine. So do kids.
So far, 435 out of 500 kids will get to enjoy a summer of safety and joy!

After school, on weekends, and all summer long, the Off The Street Club in West Garfield Park provides a safe, supportive, loving environment where the neighborhood's 4- to 18-year-old kids can grow up as far off the street as their imagination can take them.
Founded in 1900, OTSC is Chicago's oldest boys and girls club and serves more than 3,000 kids. If hope has a home in Chicago, it's the Off The Street Club.
